About

I am a User Experience Designer with a knack for breaking down complexity and seeing the big picture. I was a full time artist for 12 years. My art school professors openly scoffed at design, calling it too commercial. It took me some time to unlearn that bias, but it has made me even more aware of the power of good design when it is developed through a user centered process.

I am the oldest in a really large family, which made a huge impact on the way I live and work. I easily navigate many personalities, quickly find a common ground and lead by doing.
