I am produd to lead the Service Design Lab at the City of Austin. In late 2018, we started improving city services and programs with a team of two, a service designer and a program manager. Our project backlog quickly grew and we decided to hire 4 more team members.
As our team was growing we were regularly presenting our work and sharing artifacts. Each team member was creating slide decks, worksheets and supporting documents in their own style, which meant they all looked different.
We needed a visual style guide to help the team members easily communicate in a clear and cohesive way that reflects the goals of their department and team.
